The final rites of senior journalist and former editor of Ravaya newspaper, Victor Ivan will be conducted in Galle today (Jan 20). 

According to reports, per his wish, the funeral is to be conducted within 24 hours of his demise at his hometown in Galle. 

Senior journalist Victor Ivan passed away at his house in Galle yesterday at the age of 75 after remaining ill for some time. 

Victor Ivan was known for fearless reporting and incisive commentary, cementing his place as a prominent figure in Sri Lankan media.
