Sri Lanka recorded a 10-wicket win over Oman in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifiers in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe today. 

Winning the toss, Sri Lanka elected to field first. 

Being put to bat first, Oman was 98 all out in 30.2 overs. 

Ayaan Khan top-scored for Oman with 41 runs, while Jatinder Singh contributed 21 runs, and Fayyaz Butt 13 runs.

Wanindu Hasaranga was the star bowler for Sri Lanka picking up five wickets, while Lahiru Kumara bagged 3 wickets and Kasun Rajitha picked up one wicket.

Chasing a target of 99 runs, Sri Lanka scored 100 for no loss with 210 balls remaining.

Dimuth Karunaratne and Pathum Nissanka steered Sri Lanka to victory contributing 61 runs and 37 runs, respectively. (NewsWire)
