Warning from Consumer Affairs Authority to public when making online purchases

Consumer Affairs Authority warns against any fraudulent activities by online retailers.

Requests general public to be vigilant about where they make on-line payments to purchase goods; requests to verify online sellers have a permanent address.

Additionally if general public have any complaints regarding sellers, they’re advised to send an SMS message with name of the shop, address and type of offense to CAA’s District/Provincial contact points.
