Sri Lanka Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi & Health DG Dr Anil Jasinghe today explained the measures that have been taken to increase Covid PCR testing in Sri Lanka.
Health Minister said that a new PCR machine which could do atleast 1,000 tests will be installed in IDH by May 30th.
She said that with Universities are also permitted to do PCR testing Sri Lanka would be very soon doing more than 2,000 PCR Tests a day.
Nearly 1,100 PCR Tests were done in Sri Lanka yesterday.
