World Cup winning captain and Sri Lanka Cricket legend Arjuna Ranatunga has decided to contest for the Presidency of the Sri Lanka Elle Federation.
It is reported that the current politician has agreed to contest after he had a special discussion with some veterans in the field of Elle. Accordingly, Arjuna has promised that he will use his experience and knowledge in cricket to govern and improve Elle in Sri Lanka. Also, he has promised to give a permanent building for the Elle federation, revealing his plans to host an inter-district tournament among 6 districts where Elle is popular as a sport.
Meanwhile, current President of Elle Federation Mr. Sahan Pradeep has stated that the election for the posts in Elle Federation will be held on the 29th of August and that he will also file his nomination to contest for another term of presidency.
