Senior Member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Imthiaz Bakeer Markar is reported to have gotten into an argument with a reporter during a media briefing.
Former minister Bakeer Markar is seen in a heated interaction with a reporter, when the reporter’s repeated questions following Markar’s views on the recent statement made by former LTTE Leader Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan aka Karuna Amman on the killing of troops during the war.
When responding to the questions, Markar says there are attempts to portray Karuna as a saint.
