The Bus Priority Lane can only be used by passenger transport buses, and vans and buses used for office and school transport from tomorrow (23), the Police announced today.
Police Spokesman SSP Jaliya Senaratne said vehicles plying on the bus priority lane will be allowed to use the adjoining lane on the right side only to overtake vehicles that have stopped at bus halts.
On roads with three-lanes, motorcycles and three-wheelers will be allowed to travel on the middle lane, he added. (NewsWire)
