The Colombo Magistrate’s Court will today pass the judgement on the case pertaining to two youth who had pleaded guilty for homosexuality, Mawbima Newspaper reported.
The case will be called up before Acting Colombo Magistrate Seelani Perera.
The Fort Police had produced the two suspects in Court on charges of homosexuality.
The two accused had initially recorded their statements in open court and were released on Rs. 100,000 personal bail after being produced in court once again.
The case will be reportedly first of its nature to be addressed in Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
