The construction of Sethsiripaya stage III, the largest government office complex was commenced in Battaramulla on the 22nd of January.
With the construction of this complex, it is expected to reduce traffic congestion, relocate government instructions currently operating in busy areas of Colombo and to provide the public with a more efficient service.
This complex with many modern facilities will consist of 25 floors and a total area of 1.37 million square feet. Many government and semi government institutions are expected to be relocated here.
Apart from services provided by government institutions, this complex will also consist of auditoriums, specialized banquet halls, a gym and parking space for 710 vehicles.
The construction of the Sethsiripaya Stage III is expected to be completed within 2 and a half years with a total cost of Rs. 16.7 billion. (NewsWire)
