A tense situation was reported in front of the COVID-19 vaccination centre set up on Kirula Road, in Narahenpita today.
According to Ada Derana, the tense situation had arisen as a result of a lack of system in place for the vaccination process.
The public who had arrived to receive the vaccine have accused officials of not conducting a systemized registration to issue token numbers.
They also charged that they have been made to stand in line for hours to receive the vaccine due to the lack of a proper system. (NewsWire)
