Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has hired Tom Moody as Director of Cricket for US$ 200,000 per annum for 100 days work.
According to the Daily FT, Moody has been hired from 01st March 2021, for a period of three years.
His role will be on consultancy basis, and he will be required to fulfill 300 days of ‘Mandatory Assignment’ during his contracted period.
Tom Moody’s appointment comes following recommendations made by the Technical Advisory Committee of the SLC to revamp Sri Lanka’s Cricket operations.
Among many of his duties include the Analysis of the Future Tour Program, focusing on the Domestic Tournament Structure, Player Welfare, Education and Skill Development, Coaching and Support Staff Structure and High Performance and Data Analytics.
Moody has previously served Sri Lanka Cricket as the National Coach and he led the team to the World Cup Final in 2007. (NewsWire)
