Fifty-five (55) COVID-19 deaths were reported in Sri Lanka on Monday (27), according to the Health Ministry.
This takes the total death toll due to the coronavirus in the country to 12, 786.
Sri Lanka detected 932 Covid infected individuals across the country in the 24 hours ending at 06 pm yesterday.
Meanwhile, 185 COVID-19 vaccination centres will be in operation in several parts of the country today.
Mobile vaccination units will also be operated in various areas during the course of the day.
