Electricity Crisis : Engineers sick tomorrow. CEB to meet IOC

The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers’ Union (CEBEU) has decided to launch a sick leave campaign tomorrow (18).

The CEBEU has decided to launch the sick leave campaign against the appointment of new General Manager (GM) of the CEB.

CEBEU says new General Manager has been appointed illegally.

Meanwhile speaking about the electricity crisis, Power Minister Gamini Lokuge said that Sri Lanka is looking at the possibility of getting fuel from Indian Oil Corporation, as Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has informed it’s unble to supply fuel. (NewsWire)
