The second session of the 09th Parliament of Sri Lanka was inaugurated today.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived in Parliament for the ceremonial opening of the second session of the 09th Parliament of Sri Lanka.
The President’s Policy Statement that will be delivered at the opening session today will be taken up for debate.
Last week (11), Leader of the House Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said the Party Leaders had decided to hold an adjournment debate on the President’s Policy Statement.
He further said that the adjournment debate on the President’s Policy Statement will be held on the 19th and 20th of January 2022. (NewsWire)
