The body of a man believed to have been murdered after being attacked on the head with a sharp object has been found at Cross Road Lane in Templers Road, Mount Lavinia today.
The Police said the deceased has been identified as a 28-year-old resident of Badovita.
Investigations have revealed that the man had been employed as a driver at an apparel factory in the Nedimala area in Dehiwala.
No suspects have been arrested as yet in connection to the murder, while the Mount Lavinia Police are conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
