The balance payment for the third fuel cargo has been completed, Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced today.
In a Twitter message, he said that the payment was made with funds made available by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
“The Diesel cargo due between the 15-17 July will arrive with the payment making it the 3rd cargo paid in full,” he said.
Minister Wijesekera further said that balance payments are due for four more cargos that have been deferred until Cabinet approval is granted. (NewsWire)
