Three persons were killed following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in the Ruwanwella Police Division.
The accident occurred on Sunday evening (08) in the Medagoda area along the Thalduwa–Amithirigala road.
A car travelling from Amithirigala towards Thalduwa collided head-on with a motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction, causing the car to overturn.
The injured motorcyclist, the pillion rider, and three passengers in the car were admitted to the Avissawella Hospital for treatment. Three of the injured later succumbed to their injuries. (NewsWire)
