The United States Department of State will release the results for the 2026 Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Program, popularly known as the Green Card, on Saturday, May 3.
The Green Card program offers non-U.S. citizens the opportunity to obtain permanent residency in the United States. Entrants can check their status online at dvprogram.state.gov/ESC/ from 12 p.m. EDT (9:30 p.m. Sri Lanka time).
The U.S. Embassy in Colombo reminded applicants that this is the only official method to check results and noted that selection does not guarantee a visa or an interview. (Newswire)
