Dollar rate today : Selling rate steady at Rs. 318

The Sri Lankan rupee has appreciated slightly against the US dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (08), compared to Tuesday, with the selling rate unchanged at Rs. 318.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have decreased from Rs. 312.35 to Rs. 312.20 and from Rs. 317.60 to Rs. 317.45, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate and selling rates of the US dollar have reduced from Rs. 312.20 to Rs. 311.90 and from Rs. 318.70 to Rs. 318.40, respectively.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 311.87 to Rs. 311.52, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 318.75 to Rs. 318.39.

Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates remain unchanged at Rs. 310.22 and Rs. 318.65, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying rate and selling rates have decreased from Rs. 312.25 to Rs. 311.75 and from Rs. 318.75 to Rs. 318.25. (Newswire)
