Wearing face masks by all authorised persons travelling on the road will be compulsory from today, Sri Lanka Police announced today.
All Police station in the country have been informed about the new decision last night according to Police sources.
Police Spokesman confirmed the move and has requested everyone traveling in the road to wear a face mask from today.
Meanwhile All employees of western and indigenous medical fields are now allowed to use their service ID as a curfew pass, Police said.
