U-Turn from UNP : Decides to boycott meeting with PM

The United National Party has decided not to attend tomorrow’s meeting with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa after it was confirmed that the invitation for the meeting had been extended to former MPs and political leaders who were not part of the 2015 Parliament.

UNP had previously announced that they will be going for the meeting convened by the Prime Minister. Samagi Jana Balavegaya the party led by Sajith Premadasa announced yesterday that they will be not attend the meeting.

JVP also wrote to Prime Minister  last week informing they will also not attend the meeting.
