Five Star Hotel Quarantine for Sri Lankans returning from abroad for Rs 7500 per day

Sri Lankans who are repatriated from overseas now have given the option of quarantining at a number of selected hotels on a paid basis.

Each individual will be charged Rs. 7,500 per day on full board basis during their stay at any of these hotels which will be monitored by Sri Lanka Army.

Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said that hotels were arranged after considering the requests made by overseas Sri Lankans.

Several Sri Lankan flights from UK & Australia with Sri Lankans scheduled to arrive from today.

First flight will arrive from UK with today with 260 passengers. All of them have to go through a mandatory Quarantine period.

Hotels Jetwing Blue & Citrus Waskaduwa will be used as quarantine hotels as the first step, Sri Lanka Army said.
