Two suspects were arrested with 1.49 kilos of heroin following a raid conducted by officials from the Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) in Divulapitiya today.
The Police said the two men were arrested close to the Divulapitiya bus depot while transporting the narcotics on a motorcycle.
The suspects have been identified as 22 and 41 year- old residents of Kimbulapitiya and Minuwangoda.
The Police Narcotic Bureau is conducting further investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
