One suspect has been arrested during a raid conducted on an illegal weapons manufacturing factory in the Imbulagala area in Ruwanwella.
The Police Special Task Force (STF) had conducted the raid on a house in the area that was used to operate the factory.
Preliminary investigations reveal the factory belongs to an underworld gang.
STF personnel have seized multiple firearms and explosives from the factory. (Newswire)
