All arrangements are underway for the LPL T20 which is set to commence on 28th August and end on 20th September.
A Sri Lankan icon player would get a salary cap of US$ 60,000, while a top cricketer would be in the range of US$ 50,000 to 40,000. Others would fit into the US$ 40,000 to 30,000 and US$ 20,000 to 10,000 ranges, depending on their stature. International players are expected to be in the US$ 10,000 to 60,000 range.
LPL will play 23 games at R. Premadasa Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Pallekele, and Dambulla.
