Four employees of a business place in Fort detected with COVID-19.

Four employees of a business place on 4th cross street in Fort, Colombo have been detected with COVID-19.

Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) Regional Epidemiologist Dr. Dinuka Guruge said the detection was made following PCR tests conducted on the individuals on Saturday (17).

The PCR tests were conducted after an individual linked to the recently detected Minuwangoda coronavirus cluster was found to be employed at the business place in Fort.

Dr. Guruge further said that all employees of the business place and 35 of their close associates have been placed in quarantine centres. (NewsWire)
