A woman and her 2 ½-year-old son admitted to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH) in Angoda are reported to have escaped from the hospital last night.
The woman from Eheliyagoda had been admitted to the IDH hospital after being detected as a coronavirus patient.
The Police have found the son from a house in Eheliyagoda, while the mother is still missing.
A special operation has been launched by the Police to find the missing woman. (NewsWire)
