Pakistan cricketer Sohail Tanveer who was set to represent the Kandy Tuskers in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) has tested positive for COVID-19.
Sri Lanka Cricket sources said that the cricketer had arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (19).
Prior to his arrival in Sri Lanka, Tanveer had shared a post on social media on the LPL tournament.
Sohail Tanveer is the second foreign cricketer participating in the LPL to contract the virus.
