Flights from the United Kingdom will not be permitted to land in Sri Lanka from tomorrow (23).
The Civil Aviation Authority said flights from the UK will not be permitted to enter Sri Lanka from 02.00 a.m tomorrow.
The decision has been taken due to the emergence of a new variant of COVID-19 in the UK and Europe.
Sri Lanka is set to reopen its airports for tourism from Saturday (26) as a pilot project. (NewsWire)
