A Police officer has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a teenage boy in Anuradhapura.
According to News First, the officer is a 58-year-old Police Sergeant attached to the Anuradhapura Police.
The suspect was arrested by the Anuradhapura Police for sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.
Investigations have revealed that the suspect had molested the boy on three separate occasions close to the Anuradhapura Town.
The victim has been admitted to the Anuradhapura hospital for a medical examination. (NewsWire)
