The protest march organised by Tamil political parties and civil society groups in Sri Lanka ended today in Polikandy in Jaffna district in the Northern Province.
Protest march started from Pottuvil town in Amparai district in the Eastern province on 3rd February.
According to TNA MP MA Sumanthiran, The march was held to protest the Government’s constant restrictions on minorities, land grabbing in the North, and to demand for the release of Tamil political prisoners, against Government’s forced cremation policy of Covid victims & all other human rights violations in the country.
