Sri Lanka Coach Mickey Arthur today expressed his displeasure over Pakistan Cricket board’s decision to play the remainder of the Pakistan Super League games in June as it would clash with dates of Asia Cup.

“Exactly the window when Asia Cup is supposed to be held…dangerous precedent when leagues take precedent over International cricket as Asia Cup is so important in funding a lot of grassroots cricket in the smaller Asian countries!” Sri Lanka Coach tweeted.

Remainder of PSL6 is expected to be played in first week of June, with all games to be played in Karachi.

Asia Cup is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in June this year. However, the timing of the tournament was already under question mark with India qualifying for the World Test Championship final, also to be played in June in England. (NewsWire)
