Two people have been arrested in Jaffna on charges of promoting terrorism.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the two suspects were arrested by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID).
The suspects are reported to have operated a website and a YouTube channel promoting the LTTE and terrorism related activities.
DIG Ajith Rohana said the suspects have been identified as a 35-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man.
They were arrested following a raid conducted on their office on Nawalar Street in Jaffna this morning. (NewsWire)
