Three farmers have died after being struck by lightning in the Kannimuruppu area in Mullaitivu.
The Police said the farmers had been struck by lightning while working at a paddy field last evening.
The victims have been identified as 35, 34, and 46-year-olds from the Kumulumulai area.
The farmers were reportedly working on the same paddy field and had moved under a tree due to heavy showers, during which they had been struck by lightning. (NewsWire)
