A toddler has died after falling into a water tank in the Ihalakumbugollewa area in Horowpathana last evening.
The Police said the girl, aged 2, had fallen into the water tank that had been constructed within the premises of the house for farming purposes.
The body of the toddler has been placed at the Horowpathana hospital.
The Horowpathana Police is conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
