The isolation status of Piliyandala was revised yesterday following a request made by Minister of Transport Gamini Lokuge.
Speaking to reporters, the Minister revealed that Covid infected individuals had not been reported from all areas of Piliyandala.
As a result, the health authorities were requested to reconsider and provide possible relief to areas in which patients had not been detected.
An isolation was initially imposed to the entire Piliyanda Police area last morning, but was later revised to 10 Grama Niladhari Divisions. (NewsWire)
