SLPP MP Kapila Nuwan Athukorala has tested positive for Covid.
Trincomalee District Parliamentarian is the 5th MP to test positive for Covid during the the 3rd wave in Sri Lanka.
Earlier SLPP MP Maruthapandi Rameshwaram, SJP MPs Mujibur Rahman, Sajith Premadasa and Nalin Bandara had tested positive.
According to sources all four MPs have now recovered and currently in qurantine. (NewsWire)
