The second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine will be administered to the public from the 08th of June.
Army Commander General Shavendra Silva told NewsWire that those who have obtained the 1st dose on a respective date in May can now obtain their second dose.
He said the public who obtained their vaccine in May can receive their second dose on a parallel date in the month of June.
The second dose can be obtained at the same venue as that of the first dose, the Army Commander said.
The Sinopharm vaccine was initially administered to Chinese nationals living in Sri Lanka.
The Chinese manufactured vaccine was thereafter administered to the public from the 08th of May in Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
