Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekara has issued a statement denying that he ordered the bus transporting guests who had attended a party at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo to return while it was en route to a quarantine centre.
The Minister said that he had only told the Police to allow them to take their clothes after he received a call from Piumi Hansamali and Chandimal Jayasinghe.
Meanwhile Police today released CCTV footage of the guests attending Shangri-la party.
