The Health Ministry has revised the system under which Covid related deaths were reported in Sri Lanka.
Health Services Director General Dr. Asela Gunawardena said deaths due to the coronavirus that have occurred within 24 – 48 hours will be reported per day in the future.
He said thereby, the earlier system of reporting deaths that had occurred over the period of a few days will be discontinued. (NewsWire)
