Actress Gayathri Dias has made an emotional appeal from the public to safeguard themselves and their loved ones from the coronavirus, after losing her mother to the virus.
The actress revealed that her mother, who was suffering from heart disease, had been hospitalised due to breathing difficulties. Despite a slow recovery, she had suffered a sudden heart attack and had died on the 13th of June.

on the 13th June 2021, my loving mother passed away due to coronavirus. she had a heart disease. she was hospitalised due to breathing difficulties. as she was slowly recovering, she suffered a heart attack. my beautiful mother who was immensely kind and generous passed away in ICU. she was taken away to be cremated within few hours. being unable to say a proper goodbye to my mother makes me miserable every second of the day.
Today i’m sharing this story to kindly ask everyone to take necessary precautions. the third wave is worse than the first two waves, number of covid deaths are increasing everyday. in the end, my own mother was taken by the third covid wave. don’t let your loved ones be exposed to this deadly disease.❤️ (NewsWire)
