A team of Police officials visited the residence of Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Harin Fernando today.
MP Fernando said the Police officers had arrived at his residence in Wattala and had inquired if a meeting was being held at the premises.
He said the officers both in uniform and in civil attire had arrived near his residence between 1- 1.30 pm.
Upon inspecting his CCTV camera footage he had also found a number of Police vehicles parked in and around the roads leading up to his house.
He said after inquiring from the Police officials, he was informed that they had received information that a bus full of people were en route to his residence and had arrived to verify in this regard.
However, the Police officers had left MP Harin Fernando’s residence after they had received a phone call from a senior Police officer on the situation.
