Indian assistance has been sought to treat an 11-year-old lion that had been detected with COVID-19 at the National Zoological Gardens in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka.
Issuing a statement, the Department of National Zoological Gardens provided an update on the current situation pertaining to the infected animal.
The Department said the lion has been isolated, while discussions are underway with the Central Zoo Authority of India to receive advise on treating the animal. (NewsWire)
