General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara says that there is a conspiracy within the government.
He further said that the conspiracy is to withdraw other parties involved with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), from the government.
He pointed out that there is a plot to remove some ministers from the cabinet, who are party leaders of these smaller parties who supported in forming the government.
Dayasiri Jayasekara also added that the decision to increase fuel prices was not a sole decision of minister Gammanpila, but a decision taken by the government.
State Minister further said that the opposition is planning to take advantage of this rift within the government by bringing in a no confidence motion against Minister Gammanpila. (NewsWire)
