The Ministry of Mass Media says an investigation will be conducted into allegations of workplace harassment raised by many female journalists of Sri Lanka on social media.
Responding to a question raised by a journalist during a media briefing held today, subject Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said an official complaint has not been filed in this regard as yet.
He said however, the Ministry will look into the allegations and will also reach out to the female journalists who have raised the allegations under a #metoo campaign in Twitter. (NewsWire)
