A bus with passengers that had left from Eravur to Colombo has been seized on charges of violating the inter-province travel ban that is currently in effect in Sri Lanka.
The Police said the driver, conductor, and 29 passengers have been arrested, while the bus has been taken into Police custody.
The bus was seized after it was inspected at the Miriswatta Junction on the Colombo- Kandy Road in Gampaha early this morning.
The Police said the suspects will be produced before the Gampaha Magistrate’s Court today. (NewsWire)
