The driver and conductor of a bus in the public transportation service have been arrested on charges of molesting a female passenger.
Police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the incident had occurred when the passenger was travelling in the bus in the Horowpathana area yesterday.
The driver and conductor of the bus were arrested following investigations conducted into the allegations by the Horowpathana Police.
DIG Ajith Rohana said the suspects were remanded till the 6th of July after being produced in court yesterday.
