A Gazette notification has been published limiting the repatriation of funds under the migration allowance through Capital Transactions Rupee Accounts by emigrants.
The Gazette has been sanctioned and issued under the directive of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance said the order is valid for a period of 06-months since the publication of the Gazette, which is dated 30th June 2021. (NewsWire)
