The highest number of COVID-19 vaccinations administered in a single day in Sri Lanka thus far was reported yesterday.
State Minister Professor Channa Jayasumana said a total of 384,763 doses of the vaccine were administered during the day.
He said the Sinopharm vaccine was provided as the first dose to 338,572 people, and the vaccine was administered as the second dose to 35, 410 individuals.
A total of 3365 people received the Sputnik V vaccine as the first dose, while 7416 individuals received the Pfizer vaccine. (NewsWire)
