Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Manusha Nanayakkara has obtained the official residence that was allocated by the Parliament to fellow party member Ranjan Ramanayake during his tenure as a MP.
Ramanayake’s Parliament seat was abolished and he was told to vacate the official residence after he was imprisoned on charges of contempt of court by the Supreme Court.
However, MP Nanayakkara has obtained the said house, and has revealed that he will allow former MP Ramanayake’s staff to maintain the residence as it is.
He further said that until he remains as an MP, Ramanayake will be allowed to continue to reside at the house as his guest. (NewsWire)
